Open a location and select one of your approved active characters. The site checks ownership, current location, travel state, and whether the character is able to act. Hurt characters remain eligible unless their HP is 0.

When the character enters, the shared feed posts an arrival notice. Every location has one active shared scene, so arriving means joining the roleplay already happening there or beginning it if the location is quiet. Public locations cannot be reserved against eligible arrivals.

The character receives an opening prompt for the new scene. Choose the relevant response where applicable, then write the required RP post. The site records the character as the author and records which characters were present to witness the scene. Do not use posts that your character did not witness as in-character knowledge.

Normal activity refreshes presence. If you need more time, Stick to This Area adds one extra full timer period. If the extended timer expires, the character returns to their Clan clearing. The feed records the timeout and return.

Use the departure action when leaving normally. Cross-territory movement follows connected routes. Travel inside the character's own Clan territory may use quick travel where available.
